Harris secures semifinal spot in Eastbourne

Billy Harris has secured himself a spot in the penultimate round in Eastbourne having beaten opponent Flavio Cobolli in the quarterfinals.

The British No. 5 has continued his series of wins in the tournament, sealing the game in two and a half hours.

After two tie-breaking sets the score was 6-7, 7-6, 6-2 in favour of Harris.

In the women’s singles, Harriet Dart lost her quarterfinal match against Leylah Fernandez.

The former US Open finalist took the game in 70 minutes, winning in straight sets 6-2, 6-1, advancing herself into the semifinals.

Katie Boulter and Emma Raducanu will play in each of their quarterfinal matches later on Thursday afternoon.
