A body has been found in the search for missing 31-year-old Sarah Henshaw in Derbyshire.

It was discovered just after midnight in a layby off the A617, close to junction 29 of the M1, and police say they believe it is Sarah.

Her family has been told and is being supported by specialist officers.

Ms Henshaw was last seen at her home in Ilkeston at around 9pm on 20 June.

Her disappearance was described as “very out of character” and police previously said they had information suggesting she “may be seriously hurt or deceased”.

A man arrested on suspicion of murder remains in custody after police were given more time to question him.

Officers want to anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage of a blue Ford Transit van, registration beginning YP16, in the early hours of Wednesday 21 June around the area of junction 29 of the M1 and the A617 towards Chesterfield.
